Death Valley; The Wild Wild West!
February 3, 2012Located in the State of California is miles and miles of wasteland desert known as Death Valley, called so because this was the fastest but most deadly way to get into the gold mining states of California during the Gold Rush. We drove through it for 2 days during our journey from California on our way to Las Vegas, Nevada. Little could we have ever imagined what an amazing and beautiful place it could be. Home to the Wild Wild West, this is where pretty much every cowboy movie you have ever seen was set. John Wayne eat your heart out!
Our little home parked up on the lonely highway, this is known as the Alien highway, as it has the most sightings of UFO’s down it’s 120 mile span.
Steve was dying for us to take this photo…
Tam, looking for the RV….
There it is!!!
A long way to go!!!
Our RV Family!
Amazing views, and some cloudy lemonade :-).
Tam was shouting “Jump!!” at this point…
Where’s Wally?
There he is!
So much better than the M25!
Vote here for the best legs….
Incase you were wondering, that white stuff is not snow… but salt!
These rocks mysteriously move by themselves, apparently… and no one has ever seen it happen…
Ghost town! (Hence the ghosts!)
Death Valley… Done!
